Story Contest!

okay so here is the deal. Everyone who wants to is going to post a story, I don't really care what the story is about. It can be about your kids or a random fiction. The person who has the best story will get a prize from me(most likely candy)! You have until the family dinner in april to post the story. I will announce the winner at the family dinner so you better get writing.
Good Luck!

  1. Once upon a time, there was poor, old, tired father of 9 children. The children would wear this father down to a frazzle, bcause the would take up all his time, want him to work on the childrens cars, pay for the childrens tution in college, come over to the fathers house and eat all of this food, drive them to karate and pick them up from karate, drive them to track practice and pick them up from track practice; then the children would want the father to go watch them in the track meets. This poor father would have to pay for their missions, pay for their weddings, pay for their colthes, pay for their food--no wonder it the this poor. old, tired father until he was 55 years old to buy his first new truck. You are asking what's the moral to this story? Since all of these family dinners and get togethers are at the poor, old, tired fathers house, who will probably end up having to pay for all the food, put up with the grandkids spilling food and drinks all over the house--the poor, old, tired father better when the best story contest or there will be now more monthly dinners or family get togethers. And if there are any more contests the poor, old, tired father had better when those also!!

  2. This is a mythical tell of a far off place. There once was a kingdom ruled by a stubborn old man. This man was infamous for purchasing random artifacts from neighboring kingdoms and returning them to his own. This continued for many years until all the residents of the kingdom were so surrounded with "artifacts" that they moved away and left the kingdom to clutter. The ruler of the kingdom found a new kingdom many miles away and moved. He began to collect artifacts again and over populate his new kingdom, so he sent his artifacts to his old kingdom for safe keeping. Little did this ruler know that his old kingdom had been infiltrated by the evil overlord, who began to remove and discard artifacts with out the ruler knowing. After man months of hard work and sly trips to far off places of donation and refuse, the kingdom was to a point of live ability and the new occupants of the kingdom lived happy ever after.
